Emissions Credits definition

Emissions Credits means credits, in units established by applicable regulatory authorities, resulting from the reduction of air pollutants (including NOx and SOx) from an emitting source or facility, that have been certified by the applicable regulatory authority.
Emissions Credits means the emissions limitations which: (a) are issued by environmental Governmental Authorities; (b) authorize the emission of a fixed amount of pollutants; and (c) are utilized as a market-based mechanism for reducing pollution.
Emissions Credits means all emission credits currently available to Borrower and that may become available to Borrower in the future including, without limitation, those listed on Exhibit C attached hereto.

Examples of Emissions Credits in a sentence

  • Power Marketing shall procure for the Owner Entity all Emissions Credits, in excess of those generated by the Owner Entity, that are required by the Owner Entity to operate the Units at their scheduled capacity.

  • Power Marketing shall remit to the Owner Entity with any such statement with respect to Emissions Credits provided by the Owner Entity to Power Marketing and sold by Power Marketing for the Owner Entity the full amount then due.

  • Power Marketing shall deliver to the Owner Entity on or before the fifteenth (15th) day of each month a statement with respect to any Emissions Credits sold in the previous month, together with any applicable supporting documentation.

  • The Owner Entity shall make available and transfer to Power Marketing, as its exclusive agent, all Emissions Credits owned, earned or acquired by the Owner Entity that are in excess of the amount of Emissions Credits required to operate the Units at their scheduled capacity.

  • The Owner Entity shall pay to Power Marketing the amount of each such statement with respect to any Emissions Credits purchased by it from Power Marketing on or before the last day of the month in which such statement is delivered.

Emissions Credits any current or future recognition, award, or allocation of offsets, credits, allowances, or other tangible rights issued under or benefits resulting from a state, regional, federal, or international program or private contract, created or generated by or from the production or blending of renewable fuels, including without limitation, any Renewable Identification Numbers as defined in the Renewable Fuel Standard Program under the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 and implementing regulations, any credits pursuant to the Low Carbon Fuel Standard Program pursuant to the California Assembly Bxxx AB 32, and any federal blender/production tax credit.
Emissions Credits means the existing allowances, emission reduction credits (including Emission Reduction Credits), and greenhouse gas credits associated with the Plants set forth on Schedule 2.1(j), and all future allowances, including NOx allowances, SO2 allowances, mercury allowances, any emission reduction credits (including Emissions Reduction Credits), any carbon credits or greenhouse gas allowances and any other substances or natural resources, which are or become regulated, that arise as a result of the Plants’ age, size, geographic location, or historical operations, and excluding those SO2 and NOx allowances that are surrendered prior to the Closing as necessary for compliance purposes for the Plants or the Transferred Assets (provided, however, that only SO2 and NOx allowances with respect to the current or earlier vintage years may be so surrendered).
Emissions Credits means an authorization or credit to emit a specified amount of NOX, SO2, or PM that is allocated or issued under an emissions trading or marketable permit program of any kind established under the CAA or a SIP;
