Retirement Eligibility means Employee’s attainment of 60 years of age and ten years of continuous employment with Corporation.
Small employer carrier means any carrier that offers health benefit plans covering eligible employees of one or more small employers in this state.
Eligibility Service of an employee means the period or periods of service credited to him under the provisions of Article II for purposes of determining his eligibility to participate in the Plan as may be required under Article III or Article VI.
Year of Eligibility Service means, for any Employee, a credit used to determine his eligibility to participate under the Plan, as further described in Section 2.2.
Customized employment means an approach to supported employment which individualizes the employment relationship between employees and employers in ways that meet the needs of both. Customized employment is based on an individualized determination of the strengths, needs, and interests of the person with a disability and is also designed to meet the specific needs of the employer. Customized employment may include employment developed through job carving, self-employment or entrepreneurial initiatives, or other job development or restructuring strategies that result in job responsibilities being customized and individually negotiated to fit the needs of the individual with a disability. Customized employment assumes the provision of reasonable accommodations and supports necessary for the individual to perform the functions of a job that is individually negotiated and developed.
Retirement Eligible means that the Participant has either attained age 55 and completed ten (10) years of Service as an Employee or attained age 60 and completed five (5) years of Service as an Employee.
New employee orientation means the onboarding process of a newly hired public employee, whether in person, online, or through other means or mediums, in which employees are advised of their employment status, rights, benefits, duties and responsibilities, or any other employment-related matters.
Enrollment means the number of students who are enrolled in a school operated by the district on October 1. A student shall be counted as one whether the student is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student. Students enrolled in prekindergarten programs shall not be counted.
Deferral Election Form means the form established from time to time by the Plan Administrator that the Director completes, signs and returns to the Plan Administrator to designate the amount of the Deferrals.
Pregnancy disability means a pregnancy-related medical condition or miscarriage.
Open enrollment means a period of time as defined in rule
Eligibility Waiting Period means the continuous length of time you must be in Active Employment in an eligible class to reach your Eligibility Date.
Part-time employment means any employment or combination of one or more employments in a civil division in which an individual works fifty percent or less of the time prescribed as the standard work week by the governing body or other appropriate authority of the civil division or where the employee earns not more than one-half (1/2) of the rate assigned to the position if the position has been allocated to a graded salary schedule.
Suitable employment or "suitable job" means employment or a job:
Disenrollment means either voluntary or involuntary termination of a participant from the Independent Choices Program.
Declining enrollment means any significant decrease in the school district’s enrollment which may affect the school district’s allocation of funds in future years and/or the necessity of maintaining certain class sections or offerings.
Prime Contractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a prime Contractor.
Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16).
Primary Social Security Benefit means, with respect to any member, the primary insurance amount
Years of Service means the total number of full years in which a Participant has been employed by one or more Employers. For purposes of this definition, a year of employment shall be a 365 day period (or 366 day period in the case of a leap year) that, for the first year of employment, commences on the Employee's date of hiring and that, for any subsequent year, commences on an anniversary of that hiring date. Any partial year of employment shall not be counted.
Probationary Employee means a person who is employed but who has worked less than the prescribed probationary period.
Authorized Employee means an employee of Processor who has a need to know or otherwise access Personal Data to enable Processor to perform their obligations under this Addendum or the Agreement.
Social Security Retirement Age means the age used as the retirement age under Section 216(l) of the Social Security Act, applied without regard to the age increase factor and as if the early retirement age under Section 216(l)(2) of such Act were 62.
Contractor employee means prime Contractor and subcontractor employees who require agency access to perform work under a CMS contract.
