ESOP Contribution definition

ESOP Contribution means a contribution or contributions to the Plan made on or after November 29, 2001, with respect to the Member’s Before-Tax Savings, After-Tax Savings, Roth 401(k) Savings or Catch-Up Savings, or Company Contributions made as Matching Company Contributions or Floor Company Contributions, that are made in The Hartford Stock or made in cash and immediately invested in The Hartford Stock in The Hartford Stock Fund.
ESOP Contribution means the ESOP Contribution as defined under the 401(k) Plan.

Examples of ESOP Contribution in a sentence

  • Subject to the limitations described in Article V, each Employer shall make a Qualified Nonelective Non-ESOP Contribution, a Qualified Nonelective ESOP Contribution, or both in such amount, if any, as the Board shall determine.

  • The amount allocated to each active Participant shall be determined by multiplying each active Participant's Compensation for such Plan Year by a fraction, the numerator of which is the ESOP Contribution for such Plan Year, and the denominator of which is the total Compensation of all active Participants for such Plan Year.

  • The ESOP Contribution subaccount of a Participant shall be invested in Common Stock, subject to the diversification rules provided in Section 4 of this Article.

  • The amount contributed for any Plan Year shall be treated as a Loan Repayment Contribution, an ESOP Contribution, or a combination thereof, in accordance with the provisions of this Article V.

  • In the event that the amount of the Employer's contributions to the Plan for a Plan Year exceeds the amount of the Loan Repayment Contributions for such Plan Year, such excess shall be treated as an ESOP Contribution and shall be allocated among the Accounts of the Eligible Participants for such Plan Year in accordance with section 7.3.


More Definitions of ESOP Contribution

ESOP Contribution has the meaning set forth in Section 6.9 below.

ESOP Contribution. The regular, special and per capita ESOP ----------------- contributions made by the Employers pursuant to Section 5.2(a), (b) or (c).
ESOP Contribution means any contribution made pursuant to sections 5.3, 5.4 or 5.5 by an Employer on behalf of a Participant that is initially invested in the ESOP Company Stock Fund.
