Section 6.9. 43 The District shall pay the full cost of physical examinations required as a condition of employment.
Section 6.9. 13 Bus drivers shall be paid at the appropriate rate for downtime because of road restrictions. On downtime 14 days the driver would be requested to report for work each day unless notice is given to the contrary.
Section 6.9. 16 Employees called back on a regular workday, or called on the sixth (6th) or seventh (7th) consecutive 17 workday, shall receive compensation for actual hours worked, not to be less than two (2) hours. 18 19 20 21 ARTICLE VII 22 23 HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS 24
Section 6.9 contract years where there are 261 or more work days, employees who work 260 days per year 15 and are hired by September 1 shall have the option to work the additional day(s) at their regular rate of 16 pay or take the day(s) off without pay. The designated additional day(s) shall be determined by the 17 District prior to the beginning of the work year. Employees shall communicate their choice with their 18 supervisor at least one month in advance of the designated day(s).
Section 6.9. For purposes of the Agreement, Section 6.9 shall be deleted and replaced in its entirety with:
Section 6.9. 37 Each employee shall be assigned to a definite and regular shift and workweek, which shall not be 38 changed without prior notice to the employee of one (1) calendar week; except for emergency 39 situations, provided that; the regulation of shifts of transportation personnel shall be controlled 40 pursuant to Section 6.3 herein.
Section 6.9. 23 An employee who takes a higher paid classification and or position permanently will be paid at the 24 first rate in the higher classification and or position that will result in a salary increase. It is understood 25 that the employee’s longevity is retained. 27 All employees who are required, in writing, to work and assume a majority of the duties and 28 responsibilities in a higher paid classification and or position temporarily will be paid at the first rate in 29 the higher classification and or position that will result in a salary increase. The higher rate of pay will 30 be paid from first day.
Section 6.9. 38 Only employees, employed regularly as classified employees, will be used to fulfill all job assignments 39 for which compensation is paid, within their respective job classifications, unless no qualified 40 employee is available. 41 42 43 44 45 46
Section 6.9. 43 School bus drivers who have A.M. and P.M. shifts shall receive pay for one (1) hour per day for the 44 purpose of bus cleanup, fueling and bus warmup in addition to actual hours of driving. A driver that 45 drives only an A.M. or P.M. shift shall receive one-half (1/2) hour per day for bus cleanup, fueling and 46 bus warmup in addition to actual driving time. Cleanup shall include washing each bus once weekly.
Section 6.9. 12 Potential changes to duties will involve a discussion with the District, affected employee(s) and PSE, if 13 requested. If necessary, duties will be assigned to the junior qualified employee. Training and/or a 14 support plan will be provided as necessary. 15 16 17 18 ARTICLE VII 19 20 HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS
