Exempt well definition

Exempt well means a new or an existing well that is exempt from permitting under the laws of this State or these rules, and includes a well that is not required to have an operating or historic use permit to withdraw groundwater from an aquifer. A well that by Rule 7.10(1)(b) becomes an exempt well upon completion is also an exempt well.
