Federal Claims definition

Federal Claims means, collectively, any and all Claims of the United States of America, its agencies, departments or agents, including, without limitation, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, the United States Department of Homeland Security, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, and the United States Department of Labor.
Federal Claims means Claims for Damages caused by an Occurrence and/orWrongful Act pursuant to the following Federal statutes or acts:

  • Chapter 11 means Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Bankruptcy Code means Title 11 of the United States Code.

  • Chapter 11 Cases means (a) when used with reference to a particular Debtor, the case pending for that Debtor under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the Bankruptcy Court and (b) when used with reference to all the Debtors, the procedurally consolidated chapter 11 cases pending for the Debtors in the Bankruptcy Court.

  • Released PAGA Claims means the claims being released as described in Paragraph 6.2 below.

  • Professional Claim means an Administrative Claim of a Professional for compensation for services rendered or reimbursement of costs, expenses, or other charges and disbursements incurred relating to services rendered or expenses incurred after the Petition Date and prior to and including the Confirmation Date.
