Federal Financial Participation definition

Federal Financial Participation. The federal government’s share of an expenditure made by the Counties under the Agreement.
Federal Financial Participation means the federal government's share of expenditures made by an entity in implementing a program administered by the department of job and family services.
Federal Financial Participation or “FFP” means the federal payment (or federal “match”) that is available at a rate of 50% for amounts expended by a state “as found necessary by the Secretary for the proper and efficient administration on the state plan” per 42 CFR § 433.15(b)(7).
