Flood control facility definition

Flood control facility means an engineered basin operated by a state or local agency, used for the temporary slowing and storing of storm water runoff and for which regular removal of debris is required.
Flood control facility means any dam, basin, dike, channelization or other measure which provides a flood control benefit to a documented flood-prone, previously developed area.

Flood control facility means any facility or improvement as proposed in the any Drainage Study required by Owner and as approved by the District that must be constructed by Owner, Owner’s successors or another entity associated with the Owner for the purposes of controlling flood events to downstream or areas adjacent to the facility or improvement within the Subject Property.
