Food service program definition

Food service program means the systematic activity of the department and a local health department for effective administration and enforcement of the food code and this act, including all of the following:
Food service program. The preparation and service of food to District’s students, staff, employees and authorized visitors.

  • By entering into this Agreement, consistent with its legal obligation to retain ultimate control and responsibility for the Food Service Program, the SFA desires to (a) obtain the benefit of the managerial expertise, experience and systems of the FSMC, and (b) have the FSMC manage the Food Service Program, in cooperation with the SFA, with the goal of improving the efficiency, quality and effectiveness of the Food Service Program and exceeding the minimum performance standards set forth herein.

  • FSMC will perform an evaluation of the current Food Service Program warehouse delivery procedures and recommend changes to the SFA for consideration to improve the efficiency and overall productivity of SFA’s Food Service Program.

  • FSMC will employ a management staff which is adequate to efficiently manage the Food Service Program at SFA.
