Examples of Foreign Shell Bank in a sentence
Prohibited Clients L.M. Kohn & Co. will not open accounts or accept funds or securities from, or on behalf of, any person or entity whose name appears on either the List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons, or the Foreign Sanctions Evaders List maintained by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control, from any Foreign Shell Bank or from any other prohibited persons or entities as may be mandated by applicable law or regulation.
In addition, the Capital Contributions of the Purchaser and, if applicable, any Underlying Beneficial Owner, do not originate from, nor will they be routed through, an account maintained at (A) a Foreign Shell Bank or (B) a foreign bank (other than a Regulated Affiliate) that is barred, pursuant to its banking license, from conducting banking activities with the citizens of, or with the local currency of, the country that issued the license.
You acknowledge and accept that we may immediately terminate this Agreement if, at any time during the term of this Agreement, you are a Foreign Shell Bank and are not a Regulated Affiliate.
Neither the Company, nor any Person who controls the Company or any Person for whom The Company is acting as an agent or nominee, as applicable: (1) bears a name that appears on the List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons maintained by OFAC from time to time; (2) is a Foreign Shell Bank; or (3) resides in or whose subscription funds are transferred from or through an account in a Non-Cooperative Jurisdiction.
Foreign Shell Bank: A Foreign Bank without a Physical Presence in any country, but does not include a Regulated Affiliate.
