Freezing definition

Freezing or “seizure” shall mean temporarily prohibiting the transfer, conversion, disposition or movement of property or temporarily assuming custody or control of property on the basis of an order issued by a court or other competent authority;

Legal Process‌ Legal process includes a writ of attachment, execution, garnishment, tax withholding order, levy, restraining order, subpoena, warrant, injunction, government agency request for information, search warrant, forfeiture or other similar order. We may accept and comply with legal process: served in person, by mail, by facsimile transmission, or by other means. You direct us not to contest the legal process. We may, but are not required to, send a notice to you of the legal process. We do not send a notice if we believe the law prohibits us from doing so.
