Good Electric Operating Practice definition

Good Electric Operating Practice. – means any of the practices, methods and acts which should be adopted at the relevant time by a person exercising that degree of knowledge, skill, diligence, prudence and foresight which would reasonably and ordinarily be expected from a skilled and experienced operator engaged in operating transmission facilities the same or similar to the TFO's Transmission Facility, under the same or similar circumstances. Good Electric Operating Practice is not restricted to the optimum practice, method or act to the exclusion of all others but rather comprises the spectrum of acceptable practices, methods and acts applicable to the circumstances, including the applicable WSCC standards as may be amended from time to time and having regard to economic considerations;

  • Good Engineering Practice means, Works carried out in accordance with the following standards/ specifications,
