Grout displacement method means placing a calculated volume of grout sufficient to fill the annular space plus fifteen percent extra grout into the borehole through a conductor pipe. A drillable plug is then attached to the bottom of the permanent casing and the permanent casing is lowered through the grout into the borehole allowing the grout to be forced up the annular space. If necessary, pressure is applied to the top of the casing to hold it in place until the grout is set.
