HHS Agency means the Texas health and human service agencies subject to HHSC’s oversight under Chapter 531, Texas Government Code, and their successor agencies.

Each HCSS must provide clients with a plan of care that includes specific services the agency agrees to perform. The agencies are licensed and monitored by DADS or its successor.
