Home Health. Unless specifically noted elsewhere in this Agreement, the provisions in this subsection set forth below shall govern the pricing of all home health services provided to State Health Plan Members under this Agreement.

Home Health. Home Health nurses and the Medical Center have the ability to make adjustments to nurses’ normal workday start and stop times on a daily basis to accommodate individual and patient needs which may arise. The nurse’s ability to make adjustments in his/her schedule requires notification to the nurse’s manager or designee and may not impair the ability of the Home Health Department to meet its operational needs.
Home Health. When a Home Health nurse is on-call or on scheduled shift, travel 6 time and time spent consulting with patients on the telephone, shall be considered time 7 worked for the purposes of compensation and overtime when this time is necessary for 8 the performance of the nurse's duties. Travel time does not include (1) commuting to or 9 from a St. Xxxxxxx facility at the beginning or end of the workday, (2) the nurse's first 10 home visit when traveling directly from home to the patient's residence unless such 11 distance exceeds the distance commuting from home to the Home Health office then 12 the difference between the two distances will be compensated, or (3) from the last home 13 visit of the day when the nurse travels directly to the nurse's residence after the last 14 home visit unless such distance exceeds the distance commuting from the Home Health 15 office to home, then the difference between the two distances will be compensated.

There may be times when the interdisciplinary team, in consultation with you and your family/caregiver, will determine that short or long-term placement in a nursing facility is the most appropriate plan of care for your situation. If that occurs, it will be because your health and/or social situation is such that community living is not appropriate at that time. This placement will be carefully supervised by the CHA PACE interdisciplinary team, and your participation in the program will continue.
Home Health. Section 1. Home care nurses are classified as exempt employees (exempt from the overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standards Act.) As such, home care nurses and coordinators shall be expected to work a reasonable amount of time exceeding their weekly assignment for the proper administration of the department. A nurse may request assistance in advance in order to meet his/her assignment.
Home Health. This Article shall apply to registered nurses employed in the Medical Center’s Home Health unit. Except as expressly modified herein, the terms and conditions set forth in the Employment Agreement shall apply to nurses working under this Article.
Home Health. VA shall reimburse the THP at the AIR for Direct Care Home Health Services provided to Eligible American Indian/Alaska Native Veterans.
