Home Health. Unless specifically noted elsewhere in this Agreement, the provisions in this subsection set forth below shall govern the pricing of all home health services provided to State Health Plan Members under this Agreement.
a. 125% of current rate under the Medicare Home Health Prospective Payment System.
Home Health. Home Health nurses and the Medical Center have the ability to make adjustments to nurses’ normal work day start and stop times on a daily basis to accommodate individual and patient needs which may arise. The nurse’s ability to make adjustments in his/her schedule requires notification to the nurse’s manager or designee, and may not impair the ability of the Home Health Department to meet its operational needs.
Home Health. When a Home Health nurse is on-call or on scheduled shift, travel 6 time and time spent consulting with patients on the telephone, shall be considered time 7 worked for the purposes of compensation and overtime when this time is necessary for 8 the performance of the nurse's duties. Travel time does not include (1) commuting to or 9 from a St. Xxxxxxx facility at the beginning or end of the workday, (2) the nurse's first 10 home visit when traveling directly from home to the patient's residence unless such 11 distance exceeds the distance commuting from home to the Home Health office then 12 the difference between the two distances will be compensated, or (3) from the last home 13 visit of the day when the nurse travels directly to the nurse's residence after the last 14 home visit unless such distance exceeds the distance commuting from the Home Health 15 office to home, then the difference between the two distances will be compensated.

Home Health. All CHA PACE interdisciplinary care, except adult day healthcare, case work, etc. • Personal care and home health aide services • Homemaker/chore services • Home-delivered meals and special diets • Personal emergency response systems (lifeline) • Home delivery of medications, as appropriate • Transportation to medical appointments and escort • Translation services for medical appointments • Assistance with benefit management • Semi-private room and board • Physician and nursing services • Custodial (long-term) care • Personal care and assistance • Drugs and biologicals • Physical, speech, occupational and recreational therapies • Medical social services • Medical supplies Nursing home care does not include a private room, private duty nursing, or non-medical services such as telephone charges, unless authorized by the interdisciplinary team. There may be times when the interdisciplinary team, in consultation with you and your family/caregiver, will determine that short or long-term placement in a nursing facility is the most appropriate plan of care for your situation. If that occurs, it will be because your health and/or social situation is such that community living is not appropriate at that time. This placement will be carefully supervised by the CHA PACE interdisciplinary team, and your participation in the program will continue.
Home Health. VA shall reimburse the THP at the AIR for Direct Care Home Health Services provided to Eligible American Indian/Alaska Native Veterans.
Home Health. Section 1. Home care nurses are classified as exempt employees (exempt from the overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standards Act.) As such, home care nurses and coordinators shall be expected to work a reasonable amount of time exceeding their weekly assignment for the proper administration of the department.
Section 2. Work will be assigned with regard to the needs of the Home Care Department. Departmental Staff Meetings, CPR, Educational In-Services and Team Meetings are some examples that shall be considered part of the work assignment. The standard productivity shall continue to be based on thirty (30) visits in a standard workweek. Non-visit duties may be assigned an equivalent number of visits based on the time required.
Section 3. Assignments for home care nurses will include on-call, weekend and holiday requirements that are equitably distributed. Nurses required to be on call will be paid in accordance with Article 17.
Section 4. When the Hospital is not obligated by law to pay overtime, a flat payment of $50.00 for revisits or $60.00 for initial visits or, compensatory time may be granted for all visits scheduled and worked beyond the regular work week.
Section 5. The Hospital will provide a cell phone and a computer to each home care nurse for work use.
Section 6. The Hospital shall provide the IRS for mileage reimbursement. Paperwork for reimbursement must be submitted to the department in accordance with current policy.
Section 7. Where practicable, the Hospital shall notify the Union at least thirty (30) days prior to changing the service area which Home Health nurses are required to work, and provide the Union with the list of additional zip codes which it intends to add as service areas.

Home Health. This Article shall apply to registered nurses employed in the Medical Center’s Home Health unit. Except as expressly modified herein, the terms and conditions set forth in the Employment Agreement shall apply to nurses working under this Article.
