Historical Preservation definition

Historical Preservation means to take action through construction or other suitable measures to ensure that historical structures and facilities are kept in original or near original condition for public enjoyment.
Historical Preservation of FBC is mutually recognized and supported. Specific efforts of preservation will be made by continuing the legal name and entity as “The First Baptist Church of San Diego”; maintaining title of real property and personal property assets under the name of The First Baptist Church of San Diego; adding important provisions into the Revised Bylaws to be adopted; and conducting Church operations (Staffing, Finances, Asset and Facilities management) under the existing EIN for The First Baptist Church of San Diego.
Historical Preservation means the desire to protect and conserve the buildings, landscapes, and other artifacts concerning past events significant to a region or area.

  • The Subrecipient shall comply with the Historic Preservation requirements set forth in the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (16 U.S.C. 470), the Archaeological and Historical Preservation Act of 1974 (Public Law 93- 291), and the procedures set forth in 36 CFR Part 800, Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Procedures for Protection of Historic Properties, insofar as they apply to the performance of this agreement.

  • Further contacts with the appropriate State Historical Preservation Officers, the National Advisory Council on Historical Preservation and other concerned authorities will be coordinated through the designated Historical Preservation Officers.
