HOKU MEA definition

HOKU MEA means all MEA technology developed by HOKU at any time, including the Automotive HOKU MEA, whether or not patented by HOKU, and including, without limitation, all materials comprising such MEA and all processes used to assemble such MEA, including the Automotive HOKU MEA Assembly Process.
HOKU MEA means all MEA developed by HOKU at any time, including the Automotive HOKU MEA and the Step 3 HOKU MEA, whether or not patented by HOKU. “HOKU MEA” does not include NISSAN MEA.

Examples of HOKU MEA in a sentence

  • NISSAN may request that NISSAN GDL or NISSAN Catalyst be included in HOKU MEA.

  • HOKU is developing HOKU Membrane and HOKU MEA (each as defined below) for use in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (“PEMFC”).

  • In addition, HOKU may not sell or otherwise provide Automotive HOKU MEA to any automotive company if such Automotive HOKU MEA is identical in all respects to the Automotive HOKU MEA then being tested and evaluated by NISSAN pursuant to this Agreement.

  • HOKU MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT THE USE OF THE HOKU MEA OR HOKU MEMBRANE WILL NOT INFRINGE ANY PATENT OR OTHER PROPRIETARY RIGHT OF A THIRD PARTY.

  • NISSAN, as recipient of HOKU Membrane and HOKU MEA, does not acquire any right, title or interest in HOKU Membrane or HOKU MEA extending beyond the limited grant in Section 3.3.1 above.

  • HOKU and NISSAN are parties to that certain MEA Engineering Agreement dated as of September 1, 2004 (the “Engineering Agreement”) and that certain Membrane & MEA Purchase Agreement dated as of September 1, 2004 (the “Purchase Agreement”), pursuant to which HOKU optimized Automotive HOKU MEA and the Automotive HOKU MEA Assembly Process to meet NISSAN’s Step 1 Goals (as defined in the Engineering Agreement), and NISSAN purchased HOKU Membrane and HOKU MEA for test and evaluation.

  • HOKU has no obligation to grant a license to NISSAN, and HOKU may grant exclusive or nonexclusive licenses to others who may be purchasing, investigating, testing, evaluating or using HOKU MEA and HOKU Membrane.

  • HOKU agrees to optimize Automotive HOKU MEA and Automotive HOKU MEA Assembly Process for integration into the NISSAN Fuel Cells pursuant to the schedule and work plan attached as Exhibit A (the “Work Plan”).

  • This Agreement does not preclude HOKU from working alone or with a third party to develop a different MEA Assembly Process from the specific MEA Assembly Process jointly owned by the Parties in accordance with this Agreement (“HOKU MEA Assembly Process”), or from manufacturing, marketing, and selling MEAs that are produced in accordance with this HOKU MEA Assembly Process.

  • Assay means a laboratory analysis of Crude Petroleum to include the following: A.P.I. Gravity, Reid vapor pressure, composition, pour point, water and sediment content, sulfur content, viscosity, distillation, hydrogen sulfide, flash/boiling point and other characteristics as may be required by Carrier.

  • Reagent means any product other than fuel that is stored on-board the vehicle and is provided to the exhaust after-treatment system upon request of the emission control system.

  • Modules means the Base Modules and Extended Modules.

  • Open-Source Components means any software component that is subject to any open-source copyright license agreement, including any GNU General Public License or GNU Library or Lesser Public License, or other obligation, restriction or license agreement that substantially conforms to the Open Source Definition as prescribed by the Open Source Initiative or otherwise may require disclosure or licensing to any third party of any source code with which such software component is used or compiled.

  • Aerosol coating product means a pressurized coating product containing pigments or resins that dispenses product ingredients by means of a propellant, and is packaged in a disposable can for hand-held application, or for use in specialized equipment for ground traffic/marking applications.

  • Fabrication means making up data or results and recording or reporting them.

  • Sensor means any measurement device that is not part of the vehicle itself but installed to determine parameters other than the concentration of gaseous and particle pollutants and the exhaust mass flow.

  • PCR means the Public Contracts Regulations 2015;

  • Drug Substance means an active ingredient that is intended to furnish pharmacological activity or other direct effect in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease or to affect the structure or any function of the human body, but does not include intermediates used in the synthesis of such ingredient.

  • Bioassay means the determination of kinds, quantities or concentrations and, in some cases, the locations of radioactive material in the human body, whether by direct measurement, in vivo counting, or by analysis and evaluation of materials excreted or removed from the human body. For purposes of these rules, “radiobioassay” is an equivalent term.

  • Diagnostic source assembly means the tube housing assembly with a beam-limiting device attached.

  • Biomass means the biodegradable fraction of products, waste and residues from biological origin from agriculture (including vegetal and animal substances), forestry and related industries including fisheries and aquaculture, as well as the biodegradable fraction of industrial and municipal waste;

  • Semiconductor equipment means (i) machinery or tools or repair parts or replacements thereof; (ii)

  • Strain means the classification of marijuana or cannabis plants in either pure sativa, indica, afghanica, ruderalis, or hybrid varieties.

  • Fuel cell means an energy converter transforming chemical energy (input) into electrical energy (output) or vice versa.

  • Bulk gasoline plant means a gasoline storage and distribution facility with an average daily throughput of 20,000 gallons (76,000 liters) of gasoline or less on a 30-day rolling average.

  • Substrate means the surface onto which a coating is applied or into which a coating is impregnated.

  • Compounds means any or all of the following chemicals, as the context requires:

  • Screening Test Technician (STT) means anyone who instructs and assists individuals in the alcohol testing process and operates an ASD.

  • Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) shall mean the quantity of oxygen utilized in the biochemical oxidation of organic matter under standard laboratory procedure in five (5) days at 20 degrees Centigrade, expressed in milligrams per liter.

  • Hydrozone means a portion of the landscaped area having plants with similar water needs and rooting depth. A hydrozone may be irrigated or non-irrigated.

  • Hemp products means all products made from industrial hemp,

  • Cell Line means the cell line, particulars of which are set out in Schedule 1.
