Hospital Confined definition

Hospital Confined means an overnight stay as a registered resident bed-patient in a Hospital.
Hospital Confined means admitted to and confined as a patient in a Hospital upon the recommendation of a Physician.
Hospital Confined means a stay of 24 or more consecutive hours as a registered resident bed-patient in a Hospital.

  • Hospital Room and Board Expenses: the average daily rate for a semi private room when a Covered Person is Hospital Confined and general nursing care is provided and charged for by the Hospital.

  • Daily Intensive Care Unit Expenses: three times the average semi private room rate when a Covered Person is Hospital Confined in a bed in the Intensive Care Unit and nursing services other than private duty nursing services.

Hospital Confined means a stay as a registered bed-patient in a Hospital. If a Covered Person is admitted to and discharged from a Hospital within a 24-hour period but is confined as a bed-patient during for the duration in the Hospital, the admission shall be considered a Hospital Confinement.
Hospital Confined means a stay of 18 or more consecutive hours as a registered resident bed-patient in a Hospital. One period of confinement means consecutive days of in hospital service received as an inpatient, or successive confinements when discharge from and readmission to the hospital for the treatment of the same or related condition occurs within a period of time not more than 90 days or three times the maximum number of days of in-hospital coverage provided by the policy to a maximum of 180 days.

Provisioning center includes any commercial property where marihuana is sold at retail to registered qualifying patients or registered primary caregivers. A noncommercial location used by a primary caregiver to assist a qualifying patient connected to the caregiver in accordance with the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act, MCL 333.26421 et seq., is not a provisioning center for purposes of this article.

  • Confined aquifer means an aquifer bounded above and below by impermeable beds or by beds of distinctly lower permeability than that of the aquifer itself; an aquifer containing confined ground water.
