Hospital Confined definition

Hospital Confined means an overnight stay as a registered resident bed-patient in a Hospital.
Hospital Confined means admitted to and confined as a patient in a Hospital upon the recommendation of a Physician.
Hospital Confined means a stay of 24 or more consecutive hours as a registered resident bed-patient in a Hospital.

  • While Hospital Confined and routine nursery care provided immediately after birth.

Hospital Confined means a stay as a registered bed-patient in a Hospital. If a Covered Person is admitted to and discharged from a Hospital within a 24-hour period but is confined as a bed-patient during for the duration in the Hospital, the admission shall be considered a Hospital Confinement.
Hospital Confined means admission to a Hospital by a Physician as a registered bed-patient for at least 24 hours.

One period of confinement means consecutive days of in hospital service received as an inpatient, or successive confinements when discharge from and readmission to the hospital for the treatment of the same or related condition occurs within a period of time not more than 90 days or three times the maximum number of days of in-hospital coverage provided by the policy to a maximum of 180 days.

  • Hospital Confinement or “Confined” shall mean the status of staying in a Hospital as an in-patient for medical treatment upon the recommendation of a Physician for a minimum continuous period of 24 hours prior to discharge.

  • Bronze hospital cover means a policy that covers hospital treatment in all the clinical categories required for a bronze policy.

  • Confinement means total or partial confinement.

  • Campaigning – means any activity by or on behalf of a candidate, registered third party advertiser, political party or question on a ballot meant to elicit support during the election period. Campaigning does not include the appearance of elected officials, other candidates or registered third party advertisers at an event in their personal capacity without the display of any signage or graphic which identifies the individual as a candidate or registered third party advertiser(s) and without the solicitation of votes.

  • URGENT CARE CENTER means a healthcare center either affiliated with a hospital or other institution or independently owned and operated. These centers may also be referred to as walk-in centers.

  • Neighborhood means either of the following:

  • Hospice means a public agency or private organization licensed pursuant to Chapter 400, Florida Statutes, to provide Hospice services. Such licensed entity must be principally engaged in providing pain relief, symptom management, and supportive services to terminally ill Members and their families.

  • Confined Space means a place the dimensions or nature of which necessitate working in a cramped position or without sufficient ventilation.)

  • Silver hospital cover means a policy that covers hospital treatment in all the clinical categories required for a silver policy.

  • Center means the center for educational performance and information created in section 94a.

  • Study Centre means a centre established and maintained or recognized by the University for the purpose of advising, counselling or for rendering any other assistance required by the students in the context of distance education;

  • Behavioral therapy means interactive therapies derived from evidence-based research, including applied behavior analysis, which includes discrete trial training, pivotal response training, intensive intervention programs, and early intensive behavioral intervention.

  • Hospice patient s family" means a hospice patient's immediate family members, including a spouse, brother, sister, child, or parent, and any other relative or individual who has significant personal ties to the patient and who is designated as a member of the patient's family by mutual agreement of the patient, the relative or individual, and the patient's interdisciplinary team.

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Technical Contact The Reporter designates the individual listed below as the contact person for technical or other implementation coordination issues under this Agreement. The contact person shall be the point of contact for the CMS for any technical questions that may arise during the term of this Agreement. If the Reporter changes its technical contact person, the Reporter shall notify the CMS in writing within thirty (30) working days of the transfer and provide the information listed below for the new contact person.

  • Confined aquifer means an aquifer bounded above and below by impermeable beds or by beds of distinctly lower permeability than that of the aquifer itself; an aquifer containing confined ground water.

  • Physical therapist assistant means an individual who is licensed/certified by a state and who assists the physical therapist in selected components of physical therapy.

  • Guest means an individual who meets the requirements of Subsection 32B-6-407(9).

  • Centers means the international agricultural and natural resources research centers that are members of the Consortium; and each a “Center”.

  • Diversional Therapist means a person who provides, facilitates and co-ordinates group and individual leisure and recreational activities. This person must be a graduate from an approved university course which includes: An Associate Diploma and Diploma of Applied Science (Diversional Therapy); Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Leisure and Health); Bachelor of Applied Science (Diversional Therapy); Diploma or Bachelor of Health Sciences (Leisure and Health); an Associate Diploma course in Diversional Therapy; or who has such other qualifications deemed to be equivalent (such as a Four-year degree, Master’s Degree or PhD).
