Hydrocarbon Flaring Device definition

Hydrocarbon Flaring Device means a flare device used to control (through combustion) any excess volume of a refinery generated gas other than Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas.
Hydrocarbon Flaring Device or “HC Flaring Device” shall mean a flare device used to safely control (through combustion) any excess volume of a refinery-generated gas other than Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas and/or Tail Gas. The HC Flaring Devices currently in service at the Eagle Point Refinery are identified in Appendix A to the Consent Decree. To the extent that, during the duration of the Consent Decree, the Eagle Point Refinery utilizes HC Flaring Devices other than those specified in Appendix A for the purpose of combusting any excess of a refinery-generated gas other than Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas, those HC Flaring Devices shall also be covered under this Consent Decree.
Hydrocarbon Flaring Device or “HC Flaring Device” shall mean the devices listed in Appendix F that are used by the Covered Refineries to control (through combustion) any excess volume of a refinery-generated gas other than Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas and/or Tail Gas. To the extent that any Covered Refinery utilizes Flaring Devices other than those specified in Appendix F for the purpose of combusting any excess of a refinery-generated gas other than Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas, those Flaring

Hydrocarbon Flaring Device or “HC Flaring Device” shall mean a flare device (including all devices listed in Appendix G and any flare devices installed after the Date of Lodging) used to safely control (through combustion) any excess volume of a refinery generated gas other than Acid Gas and/or Sour Water Stripper Gas and/or Tail Gas.
Hydrocarbon Flaring Device means a flare device listed in Appendix N at Valero’s Benicia Refinery. Valero shall provide notice to EPA, within the next report to be submitted pursuant to Part XVI, of any new Hydrocarbon Flaring Device which is installed at a refinery, subject to this Consent Decree subsequent to the Date of Entry of this Consent Decree. Hydrocarbon Flaring Device or “HC Flaring Device” shall mean a flare device, including but not limited to all devices listed in Paragraph 38, used to safely control (through combustion) any excess volume of a refinery generated gas other than Acid Gas, Sour Water Stripper Gas, and/or Tail Gas.
