Immunization Information System definition

Immunization Information System means a confidential, computerized, population-based system managed and maintained by the department that collects and consolidates vaccination data from vaccine providers.
Immunization Information System or “IIS” are confidential, population-based, computerized databases that record all vaccine doses administered by participating healthcare providers to persons residing within a given geopolitical area.
