Improper Installation. The oor must be installed according to Shaw’s installation guidelines. Detailed installation instructions are included in cartons of Shaw hardwood ooring. Damage caused by improper storage, handling, or installation methods is not covered by these warranties. Improper preparation of, or de ciencies in, the sub oor/ oor joist assembly, including but not limited to excessive oor de ection, uneven or irregular sub oor surface (particularly at joints) or voids in the sub oor, are not covered under these warranties. Check to be certain that the sub oor is within structural and manufacturing requirements.
Improper Installation. Mohawk Wood Floors must be installed in strict accordance with Mohawk’s written installation instructions. Improper installation done in a way that is contrary to Xxxxxx’s written installation instructions can cause problems with a Mohawk Wood Floor. Mohawk’s limited warranties do not cover damage or defects caused by improper installation. IMPROPER MAINTENANCE OR INADEQUATE CARE: Your Mohawk floor requires maintenance. Mohawk Wood Floors must be maintained in accordance with Mohawk’s written maintenance instructions. These limited warranties do not cover damage or defects caused by improper maintenance or inadequate care.
