Index Company definition

Index Company means each of the companies including in the SNL Lodging Index and MSCI US REIT Index.
Index Company means each company in the Index as of the last day of the applicable Measurement Period; provided that (A) companies not publicly traded for the entire applicable Measurement Period will be excluded; and (B) companies that were publicly traded for the entire applicable Measurement Period but that were not a member of the Index for the entire applicable Measurement Period will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Board or the Committee, in their sole discretion.

  • If an Index Company has not issued its annual earnings release prior to the Performance Determination Date, then its results shall be based on the most currently available four quarters of financial information.

  • If, at the end of the Performance Period, any Index Company is no longer publicly traded, such Index Company shall be deemed to have performed at the bottom of the Index Company ranking.

  • The performance for each Index Company will be measured separately by dividing the Index Company Performance Date Average Price plus Index Company dividends reinvested as of each dividend ex-date between Start Date and the Performance Date by the Index Company Baseline Stock Price, with the quotient expressed as a percentage of the Index Company Baseline Stock Price (the “Index Company TSR”).

  • The Company’s TSR will be ranked against the Index Company TSRs of the Index Companies within the SNL Lodging Index to determine the Company’s Percentile Rank for purposes of Relative SNL Lodging Index TSR Performance Metric.

  • In the event such Index Company does not have a trading history prior to joining the Index, the average closing stock price for the 60-trading days starting on the day the Index Company joined the Index will be used for purposes of determining the Index Company Baseline Stock Price.

More Definitions of Index Company

Index Company means a Company which has elected to be treated as a “regulated investment company” under the United States Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and invests primarily in securities which are components of a single recognized securities index with the objective of (a) holding a portfolio of Securities which substantially replicates the components of such index and the weightings thereof on an ongoing basis over such Company’s life and/or (b) achieving a total return comparable to such index on an ongoing basis over such Company’s life. Such recognized securities index related to an Index Company shall be referred to herein as the Company’s “Target Index”.
Index Company means each Company that is included in the Index for the entire Performance Period; provided, however, that in the case of a CIC Date or a Termination Date occurring prior to the end of the Performance Period, the applicable period for purposes of determining the Index Companies shall end on the CIC Date or the Termination Date, as applicable.

Related to Index Company

  • Index Level means, in respect of any day and subject to Adjustment Provisions: (a) in respect of an Index(other than a Multiple Exchange Index), the closing level of such Indexat the Valuation Time on such day; and (b) in respect of an Index that is a Multiple Exchange Index, the official closing level of the Index on such day at the Valuation Time as calculated and published by the Index Sponsor each as rounded up to four decimal places (with 0.00005 being rounded up), allas determined by the Calculation Agent.

  • Index Disruption means in respect of an Index on any Valuation Date, the Index Sponsor fails to calculate and announce such Index.
