Indian tribal household definition

Indian tribal household means a household in which at least one house- hold member is recognized as a tribal member by any Indian tribe, as defined in § 253.2(d) of this title.
Indian tribal household means a household that includes at least one household member who is recognized as a member of an Indian tribe. The disqualification of the only household member recognized as a member of an Indian tribe would not change the status of an Indian Tribal Household.

  • Indian tribe means any Indian tribe, band, group, pueblo, or community, including native villages and native groups (including corporations organized by Kenai, Juneau, Sitka, and Kodiak) as defined in the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (43 U.S.C.A. 1601 et seq.), that is recognized by the Federal Government as eligible for services from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 1452(c).   • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Certified household means a household that has been certified by an Administrative Agent as a low-income household or moderate-income household.

  • Stormwater management planning agency means a public body authorized by legislation to prepare stormwater management plans.

  • District superintendent means the superintendent of a district or the chief administrator of a public school academy.

  • Rental housing means development of a building or structure with four or more dwelling units all of which are intended for use as rented residential premises.

  • Head of household means the parent or parents with whom the dependent child or children were residing at the time of placement in foster care.

  • Home health aide means an individual employed by a home health agency to provide home health services under the direction of a registered nurse or therapist.

  • Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.
