Industry Best Practices definition

Industry Best Practices means the practices, methods, standards and procedures generally accepted and followed by diligent, expert and prudent operators with experience in Exploration, Appraisal, development, Extraction of Hydrocarbons and Abandonment which, in the exercise of reasonable judgment and in light of the facts known at the time a decision is made, would be expected to obtain the anticipated results of the Extraction of Hydrocarbons inside the Contract Area, maximizing the recovery factor of Hydrocarbons throughout the life of the reservoirs, without causing an excessive reduction of pressure or energy.
Industry Best Practices means the best practices, methods, standards and procedures generally accepted and followed by diligent, expert and prudent operators with experience in the areas of Exploration, Appraisal, development and Extraction of Hydrocarbons and in Abandonment which, in the exercise of reasonable judgment and in light of the facts known at the time a decision is made, would be expected to achieve the anticipated results and increase the economic benefits derived from the Extraction of Hydrocarbons contained within the Contract Area, maximizing the recovery factor of Hydrocarbons throughout the life of the reservoirs, without causing an excessive reduction of pressure or energy.
Industry Best Practices means the processes, practices, and systems identified in public and private organizations that performed exceptionally well and are widely recognized.
