Initial Franchise Service Area definition

Initial Franchise Service Area means that portion of the Franchise Area served by the Grantee’s Cable System as of the Effective Date of this Franchise Agreement.

Initial Franchise Service Area means that portion of the Franchise Area served by the Grantee’s Cable System as of the Effective Date of this Franchise Agreement. “Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) Access Channel” shall mean a video Channel designated for non-commercial use by the City, the public, and/or educational institutions such as public or private schools, but not “home schools,” community colleges, and universities. “Public, Educational and Government (PEG) Access Programming” shall mean non- commercial programming produced by any City residents or organizations, schools and government entities and the use of designated facilities, equipment and/or Channels of the Cable System in accordance with 47 U.S.C. 531 and this Agreement.

Examples of Initial Franchise Service Area in a sentence

  • As of the Effective Date of this Agreement, Grantee’s Cable System has been designed to provide, and is capable of providing, Cable Service to residential Customers throughout the Initial Franchise Service Area.

  • The Grantee shall make Cable Service available beyond the Initial Franchise Service Area to every residential dwelling unit within the Franchise Area where the minimum density is at least thirty (30) dwelling units per linear Cable System network mile as measured from the existing Cable System’s technically feasible connection point.

  • Grantee shall design the Fiber Optic Network to provide BIAS to Subscribers upon their request throughout the Initial Franchise Service Area.

  • It shall be Grantee’s policy to make Cable Service available beyond the Initial Franchise Service Area to every residential dwelling unit within the Franchise Area where the minimum density is at least thirty (30) dwelling units per mile and within one (1) mile of the existing Cable System’s technically feasible connection point.

  • Service Area means the geographic area approved by the commissioner within which an issuer is authorized to offer a Medicare Select policy.

A permanent structure devoted to industrial or commercial purposes does not result in the establishment of a business area on both sides of the highway. All measurements shall be from the outer edge of the regularly used building, parking lot, or storage or processing area of the commercial or industrial activity and not from the property lines of the activities and shall be along or parallel to the edge or pavement of the highway. Commercial or industrial purposes are those activities generally restricted to commercial or industrial zones in jurisdictions that have zoning. In addition, the following activities are not commercial or industrial:

  • Service Locations means those locations set forth on Exhibit B.

  • Business location means a location where the firm carries out an activity that requires registration, and includes a residence if regular and ongoing activity that requires registration is carried out from the residence or if records relating to an activity that requires registration are kept at the residence;

  • Automobile service station means a building or structure or part thereof open to the public where motor vehicles are washed, serviced, repaired, fueled, leased, sold or displayed and may include, but are not limited to a gas bar, car wash, body shop or general or specialty repair shops;

  • Adult foster care facility means an adult foster care facility licensed under the adult foster care facility licensing act, 1979 PA 218, MCL 400.701 to 400.737.

  • Play area means an area of frequent soil contact by children of less than six years of age as indicated by, but not limited to, factors including the following: the presence of play equipment (sandboxes, swing sets, and sliding boards), toys, or other children’s possessions, observations of play patterns, or information provided by parents, residents, caregivers, or property owners.

  • New Service Customers means all customers that submit an Interconnection Request, a Completed Application, or an Upgrade Request that is pending in the New Services Queue.
