Initial Operations definition

Initial Operations means any Joint Venture activity commenced in connection with the acquisition of the Venture’s interest in the Prospect Xxxxx including legal and accounting services, geological services, organizational activities and administrative activities, and the drilling, testing and completion of the undrilled Prospect Xxxxx and the production of oil and/or gas therefrom. The term “Initial Operations” does not include the installation of any pumping equipment nor any actions to enhance production.
Initial Operations means the date that the Work in its totality is first used by Suncor for the purpose that it was intended.
Initial Operations means the development, construction and completion of the Initial Plant pursuant to the terms of the Existing Gas Processing Agreement.

  • The Global Land (GL) Component in the framework of GMES Initial Operations (GIO) is earmarked as a component of the Land service to operate “a multi-purpose service component” that will provide a series of bio-geophysical products on the status and evolution of land surface at global scale.

  • Upon successful completion of Initial Operations and all the tests conducted to the Employer's satisfaction, the Employer shall issue to the Vendor a Taking over Certificate as a proof of the final acceptance of the equipment.Such certificate shall not unreasonably be with held nor will the Employer delay the issuance thereof, on account of minor omissions or defects which do not affect the commercial operation and/or cause any serious risk to the equipment.

  • The Land and Emergency services are currently financed within the context of GMES Initial Operations (GIO) and it is expected that it will be possible to sustain this financing until early 2015.

  • Each Venturer (or other Holder of Record), other than the Managing Venturer, except to the extent the Managing Venturer holds Units, shall share Net Cash Flow, Net Proceeds and Federal Income Tax Items attributable to Initial Operations and allocated to the Venturers in the proportion that such Venturer’s Units bear to the total Units of all Venturers.

  • For each SBN, Contractor hereby grants to MSV an option to purchase, for the price specified in Article 4.3, an annually renewable software warranty for the software Deliverable Items (except to the extent such software is on the Satellite and is therefore inaccessible), commencing after the end of the Initial Operations Period for such SBN.

  • If a Virus is present in the Ground Segment at Acceptance, or upon delivery of an update or item replaced during the warranty period, or at any time during the Initial Operations Period, Contractor shall remove the Virus, assist MSV in reducing the effects of the Virus, and assist MSV with mitigating and restoring any such losses of operational efficiency or data that arise as a result of Virus, all at Contractor’s expense.

  • For each SBN, Contractor hereby grants to MSV an option to purchase, for the price specified in Article 4.3, an annually renewable extended warranty for Ground Segment components and any ground-based Space Segment hardware, commencing after the end of the Initial Operations Period for such SBN.

  • Following the Initial Operations Period, Contractor shall, at MSV’s option, and renewable on an annual basis, perform software warranty services.

Initial Operations means the initial stocking of the Facility with shrimp intended for commercial sale.

Related to Initial Operations

  • Initial Operation means the first integral operation of the complete equipment covered under the Contract with the sub-system and supporting equipment in service or available for service.

  • Commercial Operations Upon satisfaction of the following conditions, the Facility shall be considered to have achieved Commercial Operations on the Day specified in Seller's written notice described below: (i) the Acceptance Test has been passed, (ii) all generating units have passed Control System Acceptance Tests, (iii) the Transfer Date has occurred, (iv) Seller has (1) provided to Company the Required Models (as defined in Section 6(a) (Seller's Obligation to Provide Models) of Attachment B (Facility Owned by Seller)) in the form of Source Code, (2) placed the current version of the Source Code for the Required Models with the Source Code Escrow Agent as required in Section 6(b)(i)(A) (Establishment of Source Code Escrow) of Attachment B (Facility Owned by Seller), or (3) if Seller is unable to arrange for the placement of the appropriate Source Code into the Source Code Escrow account, placed the required funds with the Monetary Escrow Agent as required in Section 6(b)(ii)(A) (Establishment of Monetary Escrow) of Attachment B (Facility Owned by Seller), and (v) Seller provides Company with written notice that (aa) Seller is ready to declare the Commercial Operations Date and (bb) the Commercial Operations Date will occur within 24 hours (i.e., the next Day).

  • Commercial Operation means the condition of operation in which the complete equipment covered under the Contract is officially declared by the Owner to be available for continuous operation at different loads up to and including rated capacity. Such declaration by the Owner, however, shall not relieve or prejudice the Contractor of any of his obligations under the Contract.

  • Commercial Operations Date or "COD": The date on which Facility first achieves Commercial Operations.

  • Commercial Operation Date means the date on which a Material Project is substantially complete and commercially operable.

  • Normal operation means all periods of operation except start-up and shutdown operations and maintenance of equipment;

  • Commence commercial operation means, with regard to a unit that serves a generator, to have begun to produce steam, gas, or other heated medium used to generate electricity for sale or use, including test generation subject to the following:

  • Project Start Date means the first Milestone Start Date specified in Schedule B;

  • Testson Completion means the tests which are specified in the Contractor agreed by both Parties or instructed as a Variation, and which are carried out under Clause 9 [Tests on Completion] before the Works or a Section (as the case may be) are taken over by the Procuring Entity.

  • Production Operations means all operations conducted for the purpose of producing Petroleum from the Development Area after the commencement of production from the Development Area including the operation and maintenance of all necessary facilities therefor.

  • Exploration Operations means any operations carried out for or in connection with the exploration for minerals, and includes -

  • Date of Commercial Operation means the date on which the (nuclear or non-nuclear) power plant has successfully passed all performance and operational tests required by the end customer for commercial operation. In all other cases the warranty shall apply for twenty-four (24) months from delivery of the goods or performance of the services, or such longer period of time as customarily provided by Supplier, plus delays such as those due to non-conforming goods and services. The warranties shall apply to Buyer, its successors, assigns and the users of goods and services covered by this Order.

  • Scheduled Commercial Operation Date shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Clause 5.4.1;

  • Commercial Operation Date (COD) means the date certified by the DISCOM’s committee upon successful commissioning (as per provisions of the PPA) of the project when all equipments as per rated capacity have been installed and energy has flown into the grid.

  • Normal Operating Conditions means those Service conditions which are within the control of Grantee. Those conditions which are not within the control of Grantee include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, civil disturbances, power outages, telephone network outages, and severe or unusual weather conditions. Those conditions which are ordinarily within the control of Grantee include, but are not limited to, special promotions, pay-per-view events, rate increases, regular peak or seasonal demand periods, and maintenance or upgrade of the Cable System.

  • Commencement of Operations means the beginning of active operations by a qualifying business of the principal function for which a qualifying project was constructed.

  • Infill development means new construction on a vacant commercial lot currently held as open space.

  • Construction Completion Date means the Completion Date of the Construction as specified in the Statutory Declaration of Completion for the Project;

  • Annual Operating Plan has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 15.3(b)(i).

  • Annual Operating Budget as defined in Section 6.2(c).

  • Major development means an individual “development,” as well as multiple developments that individually or collectively result in:

  • Services Commencement Date means the date delivery of the Services shall commence as specified in the Key Provisions. If no date is specified in the Key Provisions this date shall be the Commencement Date;

  • Supplier Operations means all assets, processes and systems (including information systems), data (including Customer data), personnel, and sites, used or processed by Supplier from time to time in the performance of this Agreement.

  • Construction Completion means physical construction of a cleanup action component is complete.

  • site development plan means a dimensioned plan drawn to scale that indicates details of the proposed land development, including the site layout, positioning of buildings and structures, property access, building designs and landscaping;

  • Annual Operating Expenses for the Class means and will consist only of the following operating expenses of the Series for the Class that are, under generally accepted accounting principles, accruable and deductible from the Series’ assets with respect to the Class for the period involved: (i) investment advisory fees, if any; (ii) Rule 12b-1 distribution fees, if any; and (iii) custodian fees, shareholder servicing fees, administrative and office facilities expenses, professional fees, trustees' fees and any other operating expenses of the Series with respect to the Class that are recorded or includable in the Series' statement of operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Notwithstanding the provisions of the immediately preceding sentence, the Series' “Annual Operating Expenses” for the Class do not include “acquired fund expenses”, interest and dividends on securities sold short, amortization of organization expenses, taxes, brokerage commissions, litigation and indemnification expenses or any costs or expenses of or for the Series with respect to the Class that are "extraordinary" as determined under generally accepted accounting principles (see Accounting Principles Board Opinion No. 30). The Adviser's obligations to reimburse the Series with respect to the Class hereunder will not apply for any period when the Adviser is not rendering services to such Series under the Agreement.
