Inspection Zone definition

Inspection Zone means an area of land extending at least 50 m in all directions from the outer edge of a Monitoring Zone, as shown in Figure 1.
Inspection Zone means the general area established by the operating institution for the purpose of limiting or controlling access to the area where the screening will be performed. This includes but is not limited to any ingress, egress, gate, portal, traffic path, and areas, access to which is restricted due to the presence of radiation. The ambient dose equivalent outside of the inspection zone shall not exceed 20 µSv (2 mrem) in any 1 hour.
Inspection Zone means an area where material arriving at the C&DD facility is placed and inspected prior to recording the material in the log of operations.

More Definitions of Inspection Zone

Inspection Zone means an area of land extending outwards from the outer edge of the Monitoring Zone the distance specified elsewhere in this licence (see Figure 1).
