Joint conference committee definition

Joint conference committee means the joint conference committee as required by the joint commission on accreditation of health care organizations or, in a hospital having no such committee, a similar committee, an equal number of which shall be members of the medical staff selected by the staff and an equal number of which shall be selected by the governing board of the hospital.
Joint conference committee means an ad hoc committee composed of an equal number of representatives from the Medical Staff and the Board, with members appointed by the Medical Staff President and the Medical Center President and/or Board chair, respectively.
