Lead Future definition

Lead Future means for each Individual Commodity Index and each Trading Day,

Examples of Lead Future in a sentence

  • For the Bloomberg Commodity Index 3 Month ForwardSM the designated month contracts are exactly the same as for the Bloomberg Commodity IndexSM save that for the Bloomberg Commodity Index 3 Month ForwardSM, the contracts that would be the Lead Future and Next Future for the Bloomberg Commodity IndexSM in three calendar months are instead the Lead Future and Next Future in the current calendar month for the Bloomberg Commodity Index 3 Month ForwardSM.

  • The Lead Future is the contract month set forth under the corresponding WAV month in Table 9.

  • The current Lead Future contracts for the Bloomberg Commodity IndexSM are shown in Table 2(b).

More Definitions of Lead Future

Lead Future means, for each Index Commodity, the futures contract month designated in Table 9 of the Methodology under the current month for each Designated Contract.
