Licensed Compound Set definition

Licensed Compound Set means a set of one or more Licensed Compounds from the same Mapping Array Library that have biological activity for the same Target.
Licensed Compound Set means a list of specific ArQule Compounds licensed to Abbott by ArQule, in accordance with the procedures set forth in Section 5.6, as well as all prodrugs, esters and salt forms of such ArQule Compounds.
Licensed Compound Set means, with respect to an Active ArQule Compound, such Active ArQule Compound and any Active ArQule Homolog thereto which have been licensed to Abbott by ArQule pursuant to Section 5.4." (e) The following definitions are hereby added to Article 1 of the License Agreement (and the remaining definitions in Article 1 are renumbered accordingly):

Examples of Licensed Compound Set in a sentence

  • After the Exclusive Development Period, Abbott shall maintain an active clinical development program on at least one (1) ArQule Compound in each Licensed Compound Set.

  • The Licensed Set Core shall be included in the Licensed Compound Set.

  • Abbott shall have the option to extend the Exclusive Development Period for such Licensed Compound Set, subject to the Minimum FTE Requirement, for up to four (4) additional one year periods.

  • SB shall have sole responsibility for, and control over, the management of SB Patent Rights and ArQule shall have sole responsibility for, and control over, the management of ArQule Patent Rights; provided, however, that ArQule shall consult with SB with respect to any ArQule Patent Rights that claim an ArQule Compound that is part of a Licensed Compound Set.

  • Subject to the foregoing, (a) ArQule shall notify the Research Committee that such Active ArQule Compound and Active Homologs thereto are properly designated as Licensed Compounds, and (b) provide Wyeth-Ayerst with the confirmed chemical composition, structure, purity information and location of all Active ArQule Compounds and Active Homologs thereto so designated as Licensed Compounds belonging to such Licensed Compound Set.

  • In the event that Solvay conducts optimization of a Licensed Compound Set, then at the request of Solvay, ArQule will provide Solvay with synthetic protocols (in American Chemical Society experimental format, not automated protocols) to enable Solvay to make those Licensed Compounds.

  • SB shall use reasonable efforts to develop, manufacture, market, and sell a Royalty-Bearing Product based on each Licensed Compound Set in accordance with its scientific, medical, business and legal judgment.

  • During the Research Period, Solvay may submit any Licensed Compound Set to ArQule for optimization in the Directed Array Program; however, ArQule has no obligation to increase its commitment to the Directed Array Program as set forth in Section 4.3. At any time, Solvay may conduct optimization of any Licensed Compound Set.


More Definitions of Licensed Compound Set

Licensed Compound Set means, with respect to a Licensed Compound, such Licensed Compound and any Active Homolog thereto.
Licensed Compound Set means a set of one or more Licensed Compounds from the same Mapping Array Library that have biological activity for the same Target, as well as any ArQule Derivative Compounds of such Licensed Compounds that are synthesized by a party in the course of optimizing those Licensed Compounds.
Licensed Compound Set means the set of Licensed Compounds comprising at least one Active ArQule Compound and the Active Homologs thereto which the Research Committee has designated as such pursuant to Section 3.2 or Section 4.3 hereof. For the purposes of this Agreement, any reference made to a Licensed Compound applies to all compounds in the Licensed Compound Set to which the Licensed Compound belongs.
Licensed Compound Set means the set of Licensed Compounds comprising at least one Active ArQule Compound and the Active Homologs thereto which the Research Committee has designated as such pursuant to Section 3.2 or Section 4.3 hereof. For the purposes of this Agreement, any reference made to a Licensed Compound
Licensed Compound Set means a set of Licensed Compounds that are from the same Mapping Array Set and which are Active Compounds with respect to the same Target, as well as Analogs of those Licensed Compounds that demonstrate biological activity with respect to the same Target, as further described in Section 7.1.

  • Licensed Compounds means: (a) Research Program Active Compounds; (b) Novartis Active Compounds; (c) salts, hydrates, solvates, esters, metabolites, intermediates, stereoisomers and polymorphs of Research Program Active Compounds or Novartis Active Compounds; and (d) prodrugs of Research Program Active Compounds or Novartis Active Compounds (any of the foregoing, a “Licensed Compound”).

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Lead Compound means any compound of lead other than galena which, when treated in the manner described below, yields to an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid a quantity soluble lead compound exceeding, when calculated as lead monoxide, five percent of the dry weight of the portion taken analysis.

  • Licensed Product means a product or part of a product in the Licensed Field of Use: (A) the making, using, importing or selling of which, absent this license, infringes, induces infringement, or contributes to infringement of a Licensed Patent; or (B) which is made with, uses or incorporates any Technology.

  • Product Candidate means any pharmaceutical product developed, manufactured and/or tested by or on behalf of the Company that has not received a Regulatory Authorization for commercial distribution other than in connection with pre-clinical or clinical trials.

  • Diagnostic Product means any test or assay for diagnosing or detecting a disease, disorder, medical condition, or symptom.

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Hemp product means the same as that term is defined in § 3.2-4112.

  • Back-Up Compound means, with reference to any particular Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate, a Compound which (a) has the same principal mode of action (i.e., Potentiator or Corrector) as that Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate; and (b) was among the group of Compounds, identified by VERTEX as potential additional lead molecules having the same principal mode of action, from which the Development Candidate was selected.

  • Development Candidate means a Compound that meets the Development Candidate Criteria for the initiation of a Development Program for the treatment of CF, and which is the subject of a notice from Vertex to CFFT that Vertex intends to commence formal pre-clinical development of the Compound in the Field pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.1 hereof.
