Loan solicitor definition

Loan solicitor means a loan originator that performs the limited scope of activities set forth in s. DFI−Bkg 40.04.
Loan solicitor means a type of loan originator as defined by rule by the division under s. 224.72 (7p) (a).

  • Buyer’s Solicitors means Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx LLP of 0 Xxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx XX0X 0XX;

  • Vendor’s Solicitors means Baker & McKenzie or Chu & Lau (as the casemaybe, please refer to the first page of this tender document); and

  • Purchaser’s Solicitors means Xxxxx & Xxxxx of Xxx Xxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx XX0X 0XX;

  • Seller’s Solicitors means Xxxxxxx Xxxxx Freehills LLP, Xxxxxxxx Xxxxx, Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx XX0X 0XX;

  • Due Diligence Request means the due diligence request letter from Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxx LLP, counsel to the Purchaser, dated March 6, 2024.

  • Telephone solicitation means any voice communication over a telephone for the purpose of encouraging the recipient of the call to purchase, rent, or invest in goods or services during that telephone call. Telephone solicitation does not include any of the following:

  • Loan Servicer means the entity that from time to time is designated by Lender to collect payments and deposits and receive Notices under the Note, the Security Instrument, this Loan Agreement and any other Loan Document, and otherwise to service the Loan evidenced by the Note for the benefit of Lender.

  • Note A-3 Special Servicer means the special servicer under the Note A-3 PSA.

  • Advisers means a party or parties furnishing services to the Trust pursuant to any investment advisory or investment management contract described in Article IV, Section 6(a) hereof;

  • Law firm means both of the following:

  • Bid Solicitation Agent means the Person appointed by the Company to solicit bids for the Trading Price of the Notes in accordance with Section 14.01(b)(i). The Company shall initially act as the Bid Solicitation Agent.

  • Note A-1 Special Servicer means the special servicer under the Note A-1 PSA.

  • Note A-2 Special Servicer means the special servicer under the Note A-2 PSA.

  • Counsel means a barrister and/or solicitor or a firm of barristers and/or solicitors retained by the Warrant Agent or retained by the Corporation, which may or may not be counsel for the Corporation;

  • State contract solicitation means a request by a state agency or quasi-public agency, in whatever form issued, including, but not limited to, an invitation to bid, request for proposals, request for information or request for quotes, inviting bids, quotes or other types of submittals, through a competitive procurement process or another process authorized by law waiving competitive procurement.

  • Borrower Solicitation of Discounted Prepayment Offers means the solicitation by any Company Party of offers for, and the subsequent acceptance, if any, by a Lender of, a voluntary prepayment of Term Loans at a discount to par pursuant to Section 2.05(a)(v)(D).

  • barrister means the barrister, practising as a member of the Bar of England and Wales, who is supplying the Services in accordance with the Agreement; a "Business Day" means a day that is neither a weekend nor a public holiday in England;

  • Senior Counsel means a legal practitioner appointed by the President as a Senior Counsel of Namibia in terms of section 79(3) of the Legal Practitioners Act, 1995 (Act No. 15 of 1995).

  • Professional Investor means an investor who possesses the experience, knowledge and expertise to make its own investment decisions and properly assess the risks that it incurs. Professional investors include, among others, entities which are required to be authorised or regulated to operate in the financial markets, large undertakings, and other institutional investors whose main activity is to invest in financial instruments;
