Local Sewer System definition

Local Sewer System means all sewerage facilities of a Contracting Municipality which are or may be connected, or are or may be required under the terms of Article IV thereof to be connected, with the Regional System.
Local Sewer System means all sewer and related infrastructure that collects Wastewater within the Service Area for delivery at the point of connection to the City System.
Local Sewer System means that portion of the Sewer System that provides sewer service directly to Retail Sewer Customers, which on the Effective Date consists of the Detroit Local Sewer Facilities.

  • Notwithstanding the Maximum Allowable Flow Capacity, City shall be entitled to prior notice of any additional connections to the Local Sewer System that, individually or in the aggregate on a quarterly basis, have the potential, based on anticipated land use and/or buildout of any property or facility, to increase the Flow to the City System by more than 5000 GPD.

  • Customer shall request in writing that the City review plans and specifications prior to any connection to the Local Sewer System that has the potential to increase the Flow as stated in this paragraph.

  • Except for the Townships designated in this Contract, Customer shall not assign or otherwise transfer any or all of the Maximum Allowable Flow Capacity to any person or entity nor shall Customer permit any person or entity outside of the Service Area to connect to the Local Sewer System without City’s written consent.

  • During the Term of this Contract, the Local Sewer System shall be properly OMR&R.

  • However, City may disapprove any plans and specifications for any extension or additions to the Local Sewer System that proposes to serve any property outside of the Service Area or which may exceed the Maximum Allowable Flow Capacity.

Local Sewer System means those sewer collection systems that are connected to the WWTP but which are owned, operated or maintained by the Cities. Local Sewer Systems may include collector sewers, trunk sewers, manholes, junction chambers, pumping stations, and other appurtenances.
