LWDA Payment definition

LWDA Payment means the 75% share of the PAGA Payment allocated to be paid to the LWDA under Labor Code section 2699, subd. (i).
LWDA Payment means the seventy-five percent (75%) portion of the PAGA Payment payable to the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency (“LWDA”) as the LWDA’s share of the settlement of civil penalties paid under this Agreement pursuant to the PAGA.
LWDA Payment means the amount that the Parties have agreed to pay the LWDA for 21 its seventy-five percent (75%) share of the PAGA Payment, as set forth in Section IV.B.3 below.

  • Prior to disbursement of any funds, the Settlement Administrator will provide a disbursement summary of the calculations for the Enhancement Payment to Plaintiff, payment of Attorneys’ Fees and Costs to Class Counsel, LWDA Payment, Administration Costs payment, and payment of Individual Settlement Payments to Settlement Class Members and PAGA Group Members for review and approval by Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel.

  • The entirety of the Settlement Class Fund will be utilized to pay Settlement Class Members, the Class Representatives, Class Counsel Fees and Expenses, the LWDA Payment, Settlement Administrator Fees and Costs or the cy pres beneficiary according to the terms of this Settlement.

  • The Total Settlement Amount is all-inclusive of all payments contemplated under the Settlement, and will cover: (a) all settlement shares to all Participating Class Members; (b) the LWDA Payment; (c) the Class Representative Service Payments; (d) the Class Counsel Fees and Expenses Payment; and (e) the Settlement Administrator’s fees and expenses.

  • Class Counsel intends to request that the Court allocate $9,000.00 to PAGA penalties and approve an LWDA Payment of $6,750.00 (or 75% of the PAGA penalties) to the State of California Labor and Workforce Development Agency.


More Definitions of LWDA Payment

LWDA Payment means the amount of Three Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand 14 Dollars ($375,000.00), i.e., 75% of the PAGA Amount, that the Parties have agreed to pay to the 15 California Labor and Workforce Development Agency (“LWDA”) for the PAGA Settlement, as set 16 forth in Paragraph 16.
LWDA Payment means the amount paid to the LWDA as its portion (75%) of the total PAGA penalties allocated to it in this Agreement and approved by the Court. “Net PAGA Amount” means the amount paid to PAGA Members as their portion (25%) of the total PAGA penalties allocated to them in this Agreement and approved by the Court.
