Maintenance and Operation Expense definition

Maintenance and Operation Expense means all reasonable expenses incurred by the RECIPIENT in causing the Utility to be operated and maintained in good repair, working order, and condition including payments to other parties, but will not include any depreciation or RECIPIENT levied taxes or payments to the RECIPIENT in lieu of taxes.

Maintenance and Operation Expense means all reasonable expenses incurred by the City in causing the System to be operated and maintained in good repair, working order and condition, including payments made to any other municipal corporation for water or water service or for sewage treatment and disposal service in the event the City enters into a contract for such services, but not including any depreciation or taxes levied or imposed by the City or payments to the City in lieu of taxes.
Maintenance and Operation Expense means all current expenses of operating and maintaining the System, including all salaries, labor, materials, repairs and extensions necessary to render efficient service; provided, however, that only such repairs and extensions, as in the judgment of the City Council, reasonably and fairly exercised, are necessary to maintain the operations and render adequate service to the Issuer, or such as might be necessary to meet some physical accident or condition which would otherwise impair obligations payable from Pledged Revenues, shall be deducted in determining "Pledged Revenues." Depreciation shall never be considered as an expense of operation and maintenance.
