Major Maintenance Works definition

Major Maintenance Works means works relating to any renewable energy installation which has become operational, requiring the attachment to, or anchoring next to, such an installation of a self-elevating platform, jack-up barge, crane barge or other maintenance vessel as per The Electricity (Offshore Generating Stations) (Safety Zones) (Application Procedures and Control of Access) Regulations 2007.

Related to Major Maintenance Works

  • Major maintenance means the adjustment, repair or replacement of a component or module that could affect the accuracy of a measurement.

  • Deferred Maintenance means improvements necessary for continued operations which do not improve productivity or alter the process technology.

  • Emergency Maintenance means any period of maintenance for which, due to reasons beyond its reasonable control, Sprint Convergence is unable to provide prior notice of.

  • Corrective Maintenance means the maintenance which is required when an item has failed or worn out, to bring it back to working order, which may also include those services necessary to partially restore, renew or strengthen an existing Department facility or system, following damage caused by use or normal wear and tear.
