Material man definition

Material man means any corporation, firm, partnership, joint venture, or individual, other than employees of the Contractor, who or which contracts with the Contractor or any Subcontractor, to fabricate or deliver, or who actually fabricates or delivers, plant, material or equipment to be incorporated in the Work.
Material man means any person who furnishes materials under contract to the owner, Construction Manager , subcontractor, or sub-subcontractor on the site of the improvement or direct delivery to the site of the improvement or, for specifically fabricated materials, off of the site of the improvement for the particular improvement, and who performs no labor in the installation thereof.
