  • Medically fragile means the condition of a child who requires the availability of twenty-four-hour skilled care from a health care professional or specially trained staff or volunteers in a group care setting. These conditions may be present all the time or frequently occurring. If the technology, support and services being received by the medically fragile children are interrupted or denied, the child may, without immediate health care intervention, experience death.

  • Eligible Individual means any person who is an Employee, a Consultant or a Non-Employee Director, as determined by the Administrator.

  • Key Individual means those individuals identified in the Proponent’s Prequalification Submission as key individuals;

  • Eligible Individuals means directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or Affiliates, and prospective employees and consultants who have accepted offers of employment or consultancy from the Company or its Subsidiaries or Affiliates.

  • Medically Fit to Travel means based on assessment a Legally Qualified Physician has advised You, a Traveling Companion, Family Member or Business Partner booked to travel with You in writing that there is no medical condition, illness, Injury or Sickness that would likely interfere with a Trip at the time of purchase of Coverage for a Trip.

  • Historically disadvantaged individuals (HDIs) means all South African citizens –

  • Designated mental health professional means a mental health

  • Minority individual means an individual who is a citizen of the United States or a legal resident alien and who satisfies one or more of the following definitions:

  • Key Individuals means the Service Provider Representatives identified as being key individuals for the provision of the Services as set out in Schedule 5.5.

  • Mental health service provider means a public or private

  • Economically disadvantaged individual means an individual who is either: (1) eligible for services under the Workforce Investment Act of 1988 (WIA) (29 U.S.C.A 2801 et seq.), as determined by the San Francisco Private Industry Council; or (2) designated “economically disadvantaged” for the First Source Hiring Administration, as an individual who is at risk of relying upon, or returning to, public assistance.

  • Historically Disadvantaged Individual (HDI) - means a South African citizen:

  • Medically stationary means that no further material improvement would reasonably be expected from medical treatment or the passage of time.

  • Historically Disadvantaged Individual (HDI) means a South African citizen -

  • Elective Surgery means non-emergency surgery which is medically necessary, but can be delayed for at least 24 hours.

  • Qualified mental health professional means a licensed medical practitioner or any other person meeting the qualifications specified in OAR 309-019-0125.

  • Performance Indicator means a measure of HSP performance for which a Performance Target is set; technical specifications of specific Performance Indicators can be found in the MSAA Indicator Technical Specifications document;

  • Biologically-based mental illness means schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, paranoia and other psychotic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and panic disorder, as these terms are defined in the most recent edition of the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association.

  • Medical Foods means nutritional substances in any form that are:

  • Socially and economically disadvantaged individual means any individual who is a citizen (or lawfully admitted permanent resident) of the United States and who is —

  • Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individuals means those individuals who are citizens of the United Stated (or lawfully admitted permanent residents) and who are women, Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Asian-Pacific Americans, or Asian-Indian Americans and any other minorities of individuals found to be disadvantaged by the Small Business Administration pursuant to Section 8 (a) of the Small Business Act, RIPTA shall make a rebuttal presumption the individuals in the following groups are socially and economically disadvantaged. RIPTA may also determine, on a case-by-case basis, that individuals who are not a member of one of the following groups are socially and economically disadvantaged:

  • Covered individual means a person or entity who is a member of any of the following classes:

  • Self-Employed Individual means an individual who has Earned Income for the taxable year from the trade or business for which the Plan is established, and, also, an individual who would have had Earned Income but for the fact that the trade or business had no net profits for the taxable year. A Self-Employed Individual shall be treated as an Employee.

  • Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

  • medical food means a food that is intended for the dietary treatment of a disease or condition for which nutritional requirements are established by medical evaluation and is formulated to be consumed or administered enterally under the direction of a Practitioner.
