Member Councils definition

Member Councils means those local authorities constituted in terms of Section 2 of the Local Government etc (Scotland Act) 1994 who subscribe to membership of the Association.

• In the event of any dispute or difference arising between the Member Councils concerning matters related to the Library Service, and where they are unable to agree on any such matter, then such a dispute, difference or inability to agree shall be submitted by the Committee to the Library Council of NSW for mediation and advice as prescribed under section 12(5) of the Library Act 1939 as amended.

• The WMRC has been progressing waste plan production with all five Member Councils.

• Upon the winding up and dissolution of the Association, any property that remains after the satisfaction of its debts and liabilities shall be given and transferred to Member Councils in equal shares.
