The Standing Charge that applies to you depends on whether you have agreed to pay a Daily Standing Charge as part of your Contract or, if your Premises are empty and you are not using the Services at the Premises as expected in-line with your original quote, you may be charged a Monthly Standing Charge to cover the rental of the Meter and other associated costs.
If you do not wish to pay a Monthly Standing Charge, you may have the meter removed at your cost but please note that this will mean that you will no longer be connected to receive gas at the Premises.
