Monthly Standing Charge definition

Monthly Standing Charge means the monthly charge for making the Services available at the Premises and keeping you connected to the energy network even when you might not be using the Services. This includes carrying out meter readings, maintenance and other related charges. The Monthly Standing Charge will be communicated to you once we become aware that the Services are not in use in accordance with Clause 8.4.2. “Micro Business” defined by Ofgem as a business which employs fewer than 10 employees (or their full time equivalent) and has an annual turnover or balance sheet no greater than €2 million, or those who use under 293,000 kWh of gas per year.
Monthly Standing Charge means the monthly charge for making the Services available at the Premises and keeping you connected to the energy network even when you might not be using the Services. The Monthly Standing Charge will be communicated to you once we become aware that the Services are not in use in accordance with Clause 8.4.2. “Micro Business” defined by Ofgem as a business which employs fewer than 10 employees (or their full time equivalent) and has an annual turnover or balance sheet no greater than €2 million, or those who use under 100,000 kWh of electricity per year. Network Operator” are the companies that manage the local electricity distribution systems and national transmission systems that supply your Premises from the grid. “Non-Renewable Electricity Source” electricity generated from a resource that cannot be replaced when it is used up including, but not limited to oil, natural gas or coal.
Monthly Standing Charge means the monthly rate charged by a Helicopter Contractor for the provision of a sole use Helicopter.

Examples of Monthly Standing Charge in a sentence

  • The Standing Charge that applies to you depends on whether you have agreed to pay a Daily Standing Charge as part of your Contract or, if your Premises are empty and you are not using the Services at the Premises as expected in-line with your original quote, you may be charged a Monthly Standing Charge to cover the rental of the Meter and other associated costs.

  • If you do not wish to pay a Monthly Standing Charge, you may have the meter removed at your cost but please note that this will mean that you will no longer be connected to receive gas at the Premises.

  • If you do not wish to pay a Monthly Standing Charge, you may have the meter removed at your cost but please note that this will mean that you will no longer be connected to receive electricity at the Premises.

  • During such a period the Monthly Standing Charge (MSC) set out in Exhibit B shall cease from the day following the ditching, loss or the constructive total loss until the replacement HELICOPTER is AVAILABLE.

  • Such unavailability (hours) shall be deducted from the Monthly Standing Charge (MSC) in accordance with Exhibit B.
