New Developments definition

New Developments means inventions, or claims to inventions, which constitute advancements, developments or improvements, whether or not patentable and whether or not the subject of any patent application, which are not sufficiently supported by the specification of a previously-filed patent or patent application within the Patent Rights to be entitled to the priority date of the previously-filed patent or patent application.

New Developments means any improvements based on the Proprietary Rights, and any inventions or discoveries in the field of miniaturization of instrumentation for analysis and synthesis by the inventor of the Proprietary Rights, which are designed to be used in combination with Products based on the Proprietary Rights herein. These do not include improvements, inventions or discoveries for which the title to same may be elected by another company under existing Energy Systems policies, unless such rights revert to Energy Systems and are applicable to the definition of "New Developments" as defined in this paragraph.

Examples of New Developments in a sentence

• The proposal must comply with the relevant provisions of Council's Policy for Waste Minimisation in New Developments 2005 which requires facilities to minimise and manage waste and recycling generated by the proposal.

• The Funds shall not be responsible for costs associated with any Improvements or New Developments to existing functions or features that are necessary or advisable in order maintain the level of Services at the level performed by DST on the Effective Date, except to the extent otherwise provided in the Fee Schedule set forth as Schedule F.

• The garbage room is to be constructed in accordance with City of Sydney’s policy for Waste Minimisation in New Developments and the BCA.

More Definitions of New Developments

New Developments means new Systems implemented by Supplier that are substantially different from the existing Systems, including major replacements to existing Systems and any directly related major replacements to work processes, policies and procedures implemented by Supplier.

New Developments means inventions and/or technologies (i) discovered or invented in the performance of the Sponsored Research Program, (ii) funded by and within the scope of the Sponsored Research Program, (iii) but not directed to the subject matter specifically described by the specification or claims of Patent Rights and (iv) is not a new factor or target affecting axon growth. New Developments do not include Improvements.
