NMTA definition

NMTA means the New Mexico teacher assessments, which are the tests approved by the PED that all individuals must take and pass in order to receive initial educator licensure; the NMTA consists of the New Mexico assessment of teacher basic skills, the New Mexico assessment of teacher competency (at the early childhood, elementary and secondary levels), and the New Mexico content knowledge assessments (“NMCKA”); it shall include any test materials related to a testing applicant's taking of or registration for the NMTA.
NMTA means the Northern Municipal Trust Account as defined in the Section 426 of The Northern Municipalities Act, 2010.

  • Applicant agrees to comply with the NMTA schedule of Move-In and Move-Out.

  • National Ambient Air Quality Standards or “NAAQS” means national ambient air quality standards that are promulgated pursuant to Section 109 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7409.

  • Public Finance Management Act ’ means the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999);

  • Ambient air quality standard means an established concentration, exposure time, and frequency of occurrence of air contaminant(s) in the ambient air which shall not be exceeded.

  • Environmental and Social Management Framework or “ESMF” means an instrument satisfactory to the Association, prepared and adopted by the Recipient and dated February 5, 2010 outlining the process for management of the environmental and social aspects of the Project as the same may be amended from time to time with the Association’s prior written concurrence.

  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan or "SWPPP" means a document that is prepared in accordance with good engineering practices and that identifies potential sources of pollutants that may reasonably be expected to affect the quality of stormwater discharges from the construction site, and otherwise meets the requirements of this Ordinance. In addition the document shall identify and require the implementation of control measures, and shall include, but not be limited to the inclusion of, or the incorporation by reference of, an approved erosion and sediment control plan, an approved stormwater management plan, and a pollution prevention plan.

  • Renewable Energy Standard means the minimum renewable energy capacity portfolio, if applicable, and the renewable energy credit portfolio required to be achieved under section 28 or former section 27.

  • Environmental and Social Management Plan or “ESMP” means a site-specific environmental and social management plan to be prepared in accordance with the parameters laid down in the ESMF and acceptable to the Association, setting forth a set of mitigation, monitoring, and institutional measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the Project activities to eliminate adverse environmental and social impacts, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, and including the actions needed to implement these measures.

  • Municipal Finance Management Act means the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003);

  • FIPPA means the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (Ontario) and the regulations made under it as it and they may be amended from time to time;

  • HITECH means the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act.

  • Applicable water quality standards means all water quality standards to which a discharge is subject under the federal Clean Water Act and which has been (a) approved or permitted to remain in effect by the Administrator following submission to the Administrator pursuant to Section 303(a) of the Act, or (b) promulgated by the Director pursuant to Section 303(b) or 303(c) of the Act, and standards promulgated under (APCEC) Regulation No. 2, as amended.

  • Pollution prevention means any activity that through process changes, product reformulation or redesign, or substitution of less polluting raw materials, eliminates or reduces the release of air pollutants (including fugitive emissions) and other pollutants to the environment prior to recycling, treatment, or disposal; it does not mean recycling (other than certain “in-process recycling” practices), energy recovery, treatment, or disposal.

  • Energy Star means the U.S. EPA’s energy efficiency product labeling program.

  • South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.

  • IAEA means the International Atomic Energy Agency;

  • LOCKHEED XXXXXX Procurement Representative means a person authorized by LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.

  • Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework or “IPPF” means the indigenous peoples planning framework for the Investment Program, including any update thereto, agreed between the Borrower and ADB and incorporated by reference in the FFA;

  • MARPOL 73/78 means the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973, as amended by the Protocol of 1978 relating thereto and by any other amendment in force thereafter;

  • Buffer Zone means an area designated to be left along roads or other features in which there will be no cutting.

  • FFATA means the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (Public Law 109-282), as amended by §6202 of Public Law 110-252. FFATA, as amended, also is referred to as the “Transparency Act.”

  • Water quality standards means provisions of state or federal law which consist of a designated use or uses for the waters of the Commonwealth and water quality criteria for such waters based upon such uses. Water quality standards are to protect the public health or welfare, enhance the quality of water and serve the purposes of the State Water Control Law (§ 62.1-44.2 et seq. of the Code of Virginia) and the federal Clean Water Act (33 USC § 1251 et seq.).

  • Zone 3 means all of that part of the Lower Peninsula south of the line described in subdivision (bb).

  • Nodal Ministry means the Ministry or Department identified pursuant to this order in respect of a particular item of goods or services or works.

  • health and safety specification means a site, activity or project specific document prepared by the client pertaining to all health and safety requirements related to construction work;

  • Environmental Policy means to conserve energy, water, wood, paper and other resources, reduce waste and phase out the use of ozone depleting substances and minimise the release of greenhouse gases, volatile organic compounds and other substances damaging to health and the environment, including any written environmental policy of the Customer;

  • Environmental pollution means the contaminating or rendering unclean or impure the air, land or waters of the state, or making the same injurious to public health, harmful for commer- cial or recreational use, or deleterious to fish, bird, animal or plant life.
