The outcome of this service is sustained paid employment at or above the minimum wage in an integrated setting in the general workforce in a job that meets personal and career goals. Supported employment services can be provided through many different service models.
Non-discrimination means fairness in treating suppliers and awarding contracts without prejudice, discrimination or preferred treatment.
Self-employment shall be where a Claimant sets up his/her own business and is responsible for paying his/her tax and National Insurance.
Last day of paid employment means the last date employer and employee
Seasonal employment means the employment of 1 or more individuals primarily hired to perform services during regularly recurring periods of 26 weeks or less in any 52-week period other than services in the construction industry.
Graduates Available for Employment means the number of graduates minus the number of graduates unavailable for employment.
Rehabilitative employment means work in Any Occupation for which your training, education or experience will reasonably allow. The work must be approved by a Physician or a licensed or certified rehabilitation specialist approved by us. Rehabilitative Employment includes work performed while Partially Disabled, but does not include performing all the material duties of your Regular Occupation on a full-time basis.
Termination of Employment means that the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, other than by reason of a leave of absence approved by the Company.
Probationary Employee means an employee who has not yet successfully completed the probationary period on initial appointment.

New employee orientation means the onboarding process of a newly hired public employee, whether in person, online, or through other means or mediums, in which employees are advised of their employment status, rights, benefits, duties and responsibilities, or any other employment-related matters.
