NON-COLLUSION definition

NON-COLLUSION. By signing the price agreement the Contractor certifies that the offer submitted has been arrived at independently and has been submitted without collusion with, and without any agreement, understanding or planned common course of action with any other vendor of materials, supplies, equipment or services described in the price agreement, designed to limit independent bidding or competition.

  • Collusion means the unauthorized collaboration with another person in preparing written work offered for credit.

  • Personal harassment means any improper behaviour by a person employed by the Employer that is directed at and offensive to another person employed by the Employer which the first person knew or ought reasonably to have known would be unwelcome. Personal harassment comprises objectionable conduct, comment, act or display that demeans, belittles or causes personal humiliation or embarrassment to the recipient.

  • Serious emotional disturbance means a diagnosable mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder affecting a minor that exists or has existed during the past year for a period of time sufficient to meet diagnostic criteria specified in the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association and approved by the department and that has resulted in functional impairment that substantially interferes with or limits the minor's role or functioning in family, school, or community activities. The following disorders are included only if they occur in conjunction with another diagnosable serious emotional disturbance:

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) means section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 as amended by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008.
