Off-Net definition

Off-Net means Educational Institutions in the defined districts within the State of New Mexico that the Primary Contractor will be proposing a direction connection to Off-Net Internet Access Services, which is outside of the Primary Contractor’s service area. This may include fiber construction services and/or special construction, and to meet the applicant’s need, this may include the Offeror partnering with other providers.
Off-Net means geographical locations that are outside of Comcast’s service area and/or geographical locations that are within Comcast’s service area generally, but are not readily accessible by Comcast network facilities. All Off- Net Services are provided by third-party service providers. Off-Net Services provisioned over a fiber optic network are referred to as “Off-Net Fiber.”

  • In addition, where Wavelength Service is being terminated Off-Net at the Customer premises through an Off-Net local loop to be provisioned by Lumen on behalf of the Customer, the charges and the Service Term set forth in the Order for such Wavelength Service assumes that such Wavelength Service can be provisioned by Lumen through the local access provider selected by Lumen or Customer for the stated Service Term.
