There shall be deposited in the Operation and Maintenance Fund each month an amount sufficient to meet the current expenses of the month plus an amount equal to 1/12th of expenses payable on an annual basis such as insurance.
Moneys in the Improvement Fund may also be transferred to the Operation and Maintenance Fund to meet unforeseen contingencies in the operation, repair and maintenance of the sewage works.
The Operation and Maintenance Fund and the Improvement Fund may be maintained in a single account, or accounts, but such account, or accounts, shall likewise be maintained separate and apart from all other accounts of the City and apart from the Sinking Fund account or accounts.
There shall be deposited in said fund quarterly, after requirements of the Operation and Maintenance Fund have been met, such sums as shall be necessary to pay said contractual obligations when due.
