Period of Maintenance definition

Period of Maintenance means the specified period of maintenance from the date of completion of the works, as certified by the Engineer.
Period of Maintenance means the period during which the contractor is obliged to guarantee the work or defined portions o work against -defect and during which he is obliged to perform any maintenance procedure that may be specified by the engineer-in-charge and shall be calculated from the date of the certificate of completion given by the engineer-in-charge under the said clause from the respective dates so certified.

  • As soon as in the opinion of the Engineer the works shall have been substantially completed and shall have satisfactorily passed any final test that may be prescribed by the Contract, the Engineer shall on receiving a written undertaking by the Contractor to finish any outstanding work during the period of Maintenance issue a Certificate of completion in respect of the works and the Period of Maintenance of the works shall commence from the date of such certificate.

Period of Maintenance means the defect liability period (DLP) from the date of completion of the works as certified by the Engineer.
