Approval Authority means the authority of a Member State with competence for all aspects of the approval of a type of vehicle, system, component or separate technical unit or of the individual approval of a vehicle; for the authorisation process, for issuing and, if appropriate, withdrawing approval certificates; for acting as the contact point for the approval authorities of other Member States; for designating the technical services and for ensuring that the manufacturer meets his obligations regarding the conformity of production;
Final Approval means the Court’s order granting final approval of the Settlement.
Conditional approval means a time-limited status that results when an approved nursing education program has failed to maintain requirements as set forth in this chapter.
Final Approval Date means the date upon which Final Approval occurs.
IRB approval means the determination of the IRB that the research has been reviewed and may be conducted at an institution within the constraints set forth by the IRB and by other institutional and federal requirements.
Final Approval Order means the proposed Order Granting Final Approval to the Settlement, to be entered by the Court with terms to be agreed upon by the Parties and consistent with this Agreement.
Initial approval means authorization to admit students and enter into contractual agreements for clinical facilities. It is granted only after an application has been submitted, reviewed and a survey visit made by the Board. No students shall be admitted to the program until the institution has received written notification that initial approval has been granted. Failure to comply will delay initial approval.
MAA Approval means approval of an MAA by the applicable Regulatory Authority for marketing and sale of a Product in the Collaborator Territory, but excluding any Pricing and Reimbursement Approval.
Approval Application means a BLA, NDA or similar application or submission for a Product filed with a Regulatory Authority in a country or group of countries to obtain marketing approval for a biological or pharmaceutical product in that country or group of countries.
Regulatory Approval Application means any application submitted to an appropriate Regulatory Authority seeking any Regulatory Approval.
Governmental Authority(ies) means any federal, state or local government, and political subdivision(s) thereof, and any entity(ies) exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions having or pertaining to government.
Final Approval Hearing means the hearing before the Court where the Parties will request the Final Judgment to be entered by the Court approving the Settlement Agreement, the Fee Award, and the incentive award to the Class Representative.
Special Approval means approval by a majority of the members of the Conflicts Committee.
CPUC Approval means a final and non-appealable order of the CPUC, without conditions or modifications unacceptable to the Parties, or either of them, which contains the following terms:
Regulatory Approvals means any registrations, licenses, authorizations, permits or approvals issued by any Governmental Authority and applications or submissions related to any of the foregoing.
Drug Approval Application means an application for Regulatory Approval required before commercial sale of a Product as a pharmaceutical product in a regulatory jurisdiction.
Marketing Approval Application or “MAA” means a New Drug Application (or its equivalent), as defined in the U.S. Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder, or any corresponding or similar application, registration or certification in any country.
Governmental Approval is any consent, authorization, approval, order, license, franchise, permit, certificate, accreditation, registration, filing or notice, of, issued by, from or to, or other act by or in respect of, any Governmental Authority.
Required Governmental Approvals means the Company Required Governmental Approvals and the Parent Required Governmental Approvals.
Project Approvals means all approvals, consents, waivers, orders, agreements, authorizations, permits and licenses required under Applicable Laws or under the terms of any restriction, covenant, easement or agreement affecting all or any applicable Phase of the Project, or otherwise necessary or desirable for the ownership, acquisition, construction, development, equipping, use or operation of the Project.
Development Approvals means all permits and other entitlements for use subject to approval or issuance by CITY in connection with development of the Property including, but not limited to:
(a) general plan, general plan amendments, specific plans and specific plan amendments;
(b) tentative and final subdivision and parcel maps;
(c) conditional use permits and master plans;
(d) zoning, zoning map amendments, and zoning text amendments; and,
(e) grading and building permits.
Central authority means the entity designated by the United States or a foreign country described in section 102(e)(iv) to perform the functions specified in the Convention.
Product Approvals means any approvals, registrations, permits, licenses, consents, authorizations, and other approvals, and pending applications and requests therefor, required by applicable Agencies related to the research, Development, manufacture, distribution, finishing, packaging, marketing, sale, storage or transport of a Product within the United States of America, and includes, without limitation, all approvals, registrations, licenses or authorizations granted in connection with any Application related to that Product.
Requisite Regulatory Approvals has the meaning set forth in Section 7.01(b).
Governmental Authorities means any nation, government, province, state, or any entity, authority or body exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of or pertaining to government, including any government authority, agency, department, board, commission or instrumentality of any government or any political subdivision thereof, court, tribunal, arbitrator, the governing body of any securities exchange, and self-regulatory organization, in each case having competent jurisdiction (with each of such Governmental Authorities being referred to as a “Governmental Authority”).
Governmental Antitrust Authority has the meaning set forth in Section 5.11(b).
