Original Date of Hire definition

Original Date of Hire as used in this section means the date of the first appointment to the Chicago Public Schools. For the purposes of this section, there can be only one original date of hire in the Chicago Public Schools system.
Original Date of Hire means hire date with first PERS participating agency. (This employer may be a different PERS employer than current employer.)
Original Date of Hire means the first day in a Teacher’s current period of unbroken service to the Employer.

More Definitions of Original Date of Hire

Original Date of Hire is defined as the Employee’s first worked shift. There will also be a ninety (90) day waiting period for benefits.

Related to Original Date of Hire

  • Date of Hire means the date on which a person shall perform his first Hour of Service. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event a person incurs one or more consecutive Breaks after his initial Date of Hire which results in the forfeiture of his pre-Break Service pursuant to Section 3.3, his "Date of Hire" shall thereafter be the date on which he completes his first Hour of Service after such Break or Breaks.

  • Effective Date of Contract means the date established in the Contract for the Contractor’s work to begin, or the date the Contract has been fully executed and received all required approvals, whichever date is later.

  • Effective date of enrollment means the first date when an en- rollee is entitled to receive covered benefits.

  • Effective Date of Coverage means the date of commencement of Coverage in respect of a Life Insured under the Policy pursuant to the provision on Commencement of Coverage.
