Other Academic Staff definition

Other Academic Staff means the other academic staff as defined in the “UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Other Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018’ and as amended from time-to-time, which includes the cadres of Librarians, Directors of Physical Education and Sports.
Other Academic Staff means, the Librarian, Deputy Librarian, Director of Physical Education, Training and Placement personnel and such other staff as may be decided by the Board of Governors;
Other Academic Staff means the academic staff as defined under UGC Regulations 2018. Which includes the cadres such as Librarians and Directors of Physical Education.

  • Research Associate’s employment shall be subject to: (i) the terms and conditions of employment for members of the Other Academic Staff as provided in Chapter III of the Bylaws, and (ii) the rights and responsibilities of the professional staff as provided in Chapter IV of the Bylaws.

  • academic staff means such categories of staff as are designated as academic staff by the Ordinances;

  • the Academies means all the schools and educational institutions referred to in Article 4a and operated by the Academy Trust (and “Academy” shall mean any one of those schools or educational institutions);

  • Academic Board means the Academic Board of the University College established under paragraph 13;

  • Teaching staff member means an employee who holds a position for which a certificate issued by the New Jersey State Board of Examiners is required.

  • Direct care staff means a facility employee whose primary responsibility is to provide personal care services to residents. These personal care services may include:

Under Iowa Code section 249J.3, a “public hospital” must be licensed pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 135B and governed pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 145A (merged hospitals), Iowa Code chapter 347 (county hospitals), Iowa Code chapter 347A (county hospitals payable from revenue), or Iowa Code chapter 392 (creation by city of a hospital or health care facility). For the purposes of this definition, “public hospital” does not include a hospital or medical care facility that is funded, operated, or administered by the Iowa department of human services, Iowa department of corrections, or board of regents, or the Iowa Veterans Home.

  • general medical practitioner means a general practitioner as defined in section 3 of the Health Insurance Act 1973.
