Outpatient pharmacy definition

Outpatient pharmacy means any pharmacy, apothecary, or place within this state where drugs are dispensed and sold at retail or displayed for sale at retail and where the practice of pharmacy is conducted and pharmacist care is provided; and any place outside of this state where drugs are dispensed and the practice of pharmacy and pharmacist care is provided to residents of this state.
Outpatient pharmacy means any pharmacy, including a clinic pharmacy, where drugs are dispensed for outpatient use. It does not include institutional pharmacies or institutional facilities, as defined in agency 4729 of the Administrative Code, where drugs are dispensed for use by inpatients.
Outpatient pharmacy means that area of an institutional pharmacy which provides pharmaceutical care to registered outpatients receiving treatment at a care-giving institution.
